A biweekly programming meeting by facilities, Architects, and engineers met to review and discuss designs for the building. The meetings are a minimum of 2 hours.
Met with facilities and vendor discussing the impact of emergency power changes to SE and CS. There continues to be discussion and planning on this subject.
Meet with ITV to review and confirm their IT requirements. Another meeting will need to take place with the ITV to confirm their fiber requirements.
Met with network services to review telecomm design, fiber count, and infrastructure devices.
Working with facilities and architects in responding to IT questions related to media resources equipment and telecom closets.
A new design for the two of the math labs is being discussed there should be no impact on the infrastructure design.
An overview of the project is scheduled with IT team to review estimated timeline and IT services required to operate the building.
A follow meeting is scheduled for April 28th with the NE group on their design for the telecomm closet rack to calculate the amount of space for each closet rack to calculate the amount of space for each closet will meet the IT requirements for each floor of the building.
